On April 5th,the new Fuji TV drama ‘Kagi no Kakatta Heya‘ held a press conference in Tokyo, where they announced Arashi’s upcoming single “Face Down” has been chosen as the drama’s theme song. Arashi was in charge of theme song of previous drama, Lucky Seven starring Jun Matsumoto. This makes the group’s first time to sing for a ‘Getsu9′ drama for two seasons in a row.
Ohno-san at the press conf. talks about the new single, “Fitting in well with this drama, the lyrics are mysterious. That is brand-new for us. Arashi has been singing many kinds of songs, and this new single makes me feel like we’re seeing a new side of Arashi.‘ The recording for the new single is already done.
“as this is world of view of drama, currently as I’m shooting now, so recording (song) was pretty easy to do”
Co-star Koichi Sato, also talks about the theme song “This matches the drama” he gives his seal of approval.
Erika Toda said “This is a really cool song. I makes the drama world seem like it’s expanding, and it raises my spirits.”
Ohno was then asked about character, he says “So far I have acted in a role that is not human, this time I’m a human, but criminal nerd. It’s hard to remember specialized words.” he talks with a complex expression. “Usually, I myself can’t do problem-solving. However I’m asked to do this, I hope you watch me to solve the mysteries.” he appealed.
Also during tapings, Ohno was officially teased as the “rain bringer”.
“Because of rain shooting is delayed.” says Toda Erika “ But when Ohno-san wasn’t here, it was so sunny”
Sato also gives testimony, “we must start shooting when there is still enough time, but as this is because of leader’s fault, this can’t be helped.”
‘Kagi no Kakatta Heya’ is scheduled to air April 16th, Monday 9:ooPM JST
